Hong Kong Pavilion @ UnitedXR Europe 2025
Establishing “Hong Kong Pavilion” at the UnitedXR Europe 2025 to Promote Hong Kong's Creative Industry via Artificial IntelligenceOrganised by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA), with the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) serving as the implementing body and funding support from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), 20 local Hong Kong creative companies will travel to Brussels, Belgium to participate in the Hong Kong Pavilion at UnitedXR Europe 2025. The Pavilion will showcase the city’s innovative achievements and frontier technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and extended reality (XR) to a global audience.
Beyond the technological showcase, the Hong Kong Pavilion also provides a unique opportunity for exhibitors to connect with international buyers, investors, and potential partners. This valuable platform enables Hong Kong’s creative industries to explore new markets and establish cross-border collaborations, thereby reinforcing the city’s growing influence and competitiveness in the global digital entertainment and technology innovation sectors.

1. Harnessing AI to Spark New Innovation Forum Cum Kick-off Ceremony of The Hong Kong Pavilion at UnitedXR Europe 2025
Organized by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association, implemented by the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and supported by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, 20 Hong Kong creative companies will travel to Brussels, Belgium to participate in the Hong Kong Pavilion at UnitedXR Europe, showcasing the city’s innovative works to the globe. To mark the significance of this event, a kick-off ceremony will be held to present an overview of the programme, featuring insights from the past exhibitors, as well as experts sharing on the latest developments in Extended Reality (XR) and emerging trends in artistic creation.

2. “AI Innovation in Digital Entertainment” and UnitedXR Europe 2025 “Hong Kong Pavilion” Dissemination Seminar & Sharing Session
Organised by the Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA), with funding support from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), and the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) serving as the implementation body, the “Hong Kong Pavilion” at UnitedXR Europe 2025 successfully concluded in Brussels, Belgium on 8-10 December 2025. Twenty Hong Kong digital entertainment companies showcased the city’s innovation and technical expertise in Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the international stage.
To celebrate the delegation’s accomplishments and promote AI innovation in digital entertainment, this seminar will invite exhibitors to share their insights from the expo in Belgium. Moreover, experts in Virtual Reality (VR) will provide in-depth insights into the diverse applications of immersive CAVE systems, enabling participants to gain a deeper understanding of the latest technological advancements and practical uses, while exploring future possibilities for collaboration.
